Privacy Policy
Chimera Tactics (the "App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, how it is stored, and what rights you can exercise.
1. Collection of personal information
The App is single-player only and has no account registration. It does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, location, device identifiers, or advertising ID. No advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or tracking SDK is embedded in the App.
2. Data stored on your device
The following game data is stored only on your device.
- Owned cards: the types and quantities of cards obtained via gacha or Fusion
- Soulstone: your currency balance and the gacha pity counters / total pull count
- Deck configuration: the card IDs and counts for each deck you've built (up to 3)
- Battle progress: opponents you've cleared and the currently selected opponent
- Settings: BGM / sound effect on-off state and volume
- Card catalog cache: card data and images downloaded via the update feature described in Section 4
This data is stored only on your device and is never sent to the developer's or any third party's servers. There is no cloud sync or cross-device transfer feature.
3. Purpose of use
- To carry over your owned cards and Soulstone the next time you launch the App
- To save and restore your deck configurations and battle progress
- To retain your settings
4. Communication with external servers
The App is fully functional without an internet connection. Depending on the distributed build, it may fetch card catalog updates and card images from a server operated by the developer (hosted on Cloudflare). This communication sends only the App's build number and the revision number of your local catalog — no personal information or in-device game data is transmitted.
As part of normal server operation, the IP address, user agent, and access time of these requests may be recorded briefly in access logs. This information is used only for troubleshooting and abuse prevention, never for identifying individuals or any other purpose.
5. Disclosure to third parties
The App does not sell or provide the data it handles to third parties. The server described in Section 4 runs on infrastructure operated by Cloudflare, Inc., and communication passes through their services only to the extent necessary to process the request.
6. Retention and deletion
Data stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the App. To manually reset everything, uninstall and then reinstall the App (all owned cards, Soulstone, and decks will be lost, and the starter kit will be granted again from scratch).
7. Your rights
Because the App retains no data that identifies you personally, there is no personal information subject to requests for disclosure, correction, or deletion. You can erase the data on your device at any time using the method described in Section 6.
8. Security
Protection of on-device data relies on the operating system's (iOS / Android) app sandbox. All communication described in Section 4 is encrypted via HTTPS.
9. Children's privacy
The App does not collect personal information from children. The in-game gacha uses only "Soulstone," a currency that can be earned solely within the game, and cannot be purchased with real money.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may change in the future. When it does, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will also be announced within the App.
