Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("these Terms") set out the conditions for using Chimera Tactics (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
1. What is provided
The App is a single-player, turn-based card duel game played against an AI opponent. Cards are obtained through a gacha that uses the in-game currency "Soulstone," and through Fusion, which combines material cards you already own. The App is provided "as is," and no continued availability of any particular feature or card is guaranteed.
2. Fees and gacha
The App is provided free of charge and contains no in-app purchases. Soulstone, which is spent on gacha pulls, can only be earned in-game (for example, through battle results) and cannot be purchased with real money. Gacha rates are shown on the in-app gacha screen. If paid features or in-app purchases are introduced in the future, this will be clearly disclosed in the App and in the store listing beforehand.
3. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the App's software, card illustrations, text, game data, music, UI design, and any other material included with the App belong to the developer or the applicable rights holders. Users may use the App solely for personal enjoyment; extracting, modifying, redistributing, or commercially using in-game content is prohibited.
4. Prohibited conduct
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the App
- Tampering with locally saved data to unlawfully alter Soulstone, owned cards, or battle progress
- Redistributing the App's assets (including images, music, text, or code) without authorization
- Placing excessive load on the App's servers or otherwise interfering with its operation
- Using the App for unlawful activity or to infringe the rights of others
5. In-game items
In-game items such as Soulstone, owned cards, and fusion monsters are data usable only within the App and hold no monetary value. They may not be transferred, exchanged for cash, or repurposed for another service, and the developer may change a card's performance, how it is obtained, or its drop rate for the sake of game balance.
6. Data storage
Owned cards, Soulstone, deck configurations, and battle progress are stored on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details. This data may be lost due to device failure, uninstalling the App, an OS update, or similar events; the App provides no cloud backup or recovery mechanism, and the developer is not responsible for any resulting data loss.
7. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the App, defects in the App, data loss, or operational issues on devices or OS versions incompatible with the App.
The App may be discontinued, have its features changed, or have its support ended without prior notice.
8. Third-party libraries
The App uses Flutter and various open-source libraries. Each library is subject to the license terms set by its respective distributor.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and the use of the App are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the developer's location as the court of first instance.
10. Amendments
These Terms may be amended without prior notice. When amended, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated, and material changes will also be announced within the App. Continuing to use the App after an amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
